Corn Hole TOURNAMENT January 27th--sign up 6:30 PM play at 7:00
March 17, 2012, in order to give all Moose Members a voice in the lodge and to get your input and ideas we will have a Town Hall Discussion of Moose information, ideas, needs, and concerns. Andy Dooley and the VMA Board of Officers will be present to hear you. This is your change to be heard on any issue or concern that you may have. Lodge doors will open at 11:00AM and the Kitchen will be in full swing. The meeting will be at 1:00PM Saturday March 17,2012. and should last about an hour. Stay on after the meeting for the St. Patrick's Day Dance that night at 8:00PM All MOOSE MEMBERS ARE INVITED..THE MORE THE MERRIER.
Entertainment: If you missed the Dance Saturday January 21, 2012, you missed a ROCKIN' GOOD TIME. We had a great crowd on New Year's Eve Dance and A large crowd enjoyed the breakfast afterward. But a bigger party crowd suprised us all Saturday Night. Several new members signed up and got ready for a fund night. Thank you Dixie Outlaw Band for a great show.
CONSTRUCTION: We are still working on the building to upgrade and repair as much as we can. We are told that rennovations to the men's restrooms will be getting underway soon. If you see someone who is involved in this, please advise the lodge officers.
The new membership campaign is now in effect and will go back to May 1, 2011, so that sponsors will be included. We are racing for our goal. There will be 4 segments of the race. The third will go from November 1, 2011 to January 31, 2012. The first member signed qualifies you for the race. Then sign up 3 more members and get $50. Just like last year each additional 3 members will get you an extra $50. At the end of the race sponsor names will be place in line for a drawing at the end of the Moose Year. The drawing will be for $100 final prize. So far a total of 18 new members has been signed up.
Now Moose International is also dropping the $20 application fee effective January 1 through April 30, 2012. The Lodge dropped that fee effective November 1, 2011....Now is even a better reason to sign up new members or find those who have not kept up their dues and have them reenrolled.
MEMBERSHIP NOTE..WE HAVE 16 spomaors. 13 of these have sponsored 1 member...Sponsore 1 more and your dues will be paid next year.!!!!!
